Aruba is one of the islands in the Caribbean that offers the best beaches and bays for swimming, snorkeling, surfing and sunbathing. Each of the beaches is popular for a specific thing and therefore, deciding on which beach to visit is totally based on what activities you want to indulge in. Here are the top beaches we think you should visit when you’re in Aruba.

1. Arashi Beach. Very close to the California lighthouse in northern Aruba, we find one of the best beaches on the island and a favorite by locals, Arashi beach. Approximately 600 meters long and has a great richness in marine life at low depth what the it makes perfect for snorkeling. Arashi is an excellent location for sun bathing and just relaxing on the beach, or watching Aruba’s spectacular sunset. While at Arashi beach, you’ll find Arashi Beach Shack that contains public toilet and shower stand and they are ready to serve you some delicious modern food and cold beverages.

2. Eagle Beach. Eagle Beach in Aruba is not only one of the most breathtaking beaches on the island but in the entire Caribbean. 2019 TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award Winner for 3rd Best Beach in the World. Boasting the widest beach in Aruba and famous for its pristine and soft white sands, Eagle Beach offers beautiful Caribbean ocean views, ample parking, shaded areas, some beach huts, and a variety of water sports. Eagle Beach is also famous for weddings or vow renewals at the famous ‘Fofoti Tree’.

3. Baby Beach. On the very tip end of the island you’ll find one of the must-visit beach when you’re in Aruba, Baby Beach. with a 35-45 minutes driving from the high rise and low rise hotels to Sero Colorado to get to this beach, will all be worth it. This half moon beach is so calm and shallow that it’s perfect for families with small children. No wonder why it’s named “Baby Beach”. Baby Beach provides free beach palapas placed throughout the beach for some shade and protection against our powerful sun. And of course you won’t miss ‘Big Mama grill’ with their unique Flintstone’s Concept, for some delicious BBQ and seafood platters at Baby Beach.

4. Mangel Halto Beach. One of our all time favorite! But why do you ask even when we have Eagle Beach and Arashi Beach for example. Well for someone who lives in Aruba, Mangel halto has more of a local feeling to it. this beach located in Pos Chikito, Savaneta has so many to offer, above water as below. First of all, the name ‘Mangel Halto’ means ‘Tall Mangroves’ as you will clearly see why when you visit this beach. There’s a walking path through the mangroves that lead to the beach. It’s like walking in a new world with all the mangroves blocking the sun as you walk your way to the beach. Or you can jump off the cliff that’s next to the entrance (which we don’t suggest anyone doing if you don’t know the right spot to jump from). Mangel Halto is also considered as one of the best snorkeling spots due to it’s amazing coral reef and marine life it has to offer. It even has a sunken boat at about 30ft deep which can be seen on a clear day when you go snorkeling. For sightseeing, snorkeling or just a fun day at the beach, Mangel Halto beach it is.

5. Palm Beach. The most popular beach in Aruba for tourists since its located in the High Rise area. This beach is a two mile long and is dotted by palm trees, hotels, casinos, water sports concessions, piers, beach bars, restaurants and shops.
